Laaaid back...

Don't sleep on the Snoop D-O-Double G! For every Pussycat Dolls guest spot or in dire need of editing album, there is a rose growing from concrete, needing to be consumed, enjoyed, and appreciated. On November 21st Jay-Z is coming with a new joint, but that don't mean one should overlook Snoop's Tha Blue Carpet Treatment also dropping on the 21st. I will admit, the first single, Vato, does nothing for me, but I expect great things, cause unlike Diddy, I can ignore a clunky lyric or two, set harsh judgement aside and just coast to that smooth flow and soultastic soundscapes. And there is nothing better than Snoop just flowing to the beat, mapping a story/painting a picture/taking us inside and coasting to the beat. Need proof? Peep this track, Think about it, that literally sounds like someone played a beat for Snoop, causing him to stand up tall, bob his head, toke a bit, and just let it flow in the booth. Nothing showy, no guest artists lending a hand or getting in the way, just Snoop doing what he does best in a manner we have all come to know and love. Check it out.
