Quote of the Night!

"The sky used to be the limit, and it's not anymore. It's about 200 feet, and beyond that people think you're being comical," [Killers lead singer Brandon Flowers] said. "People ask me if we were trying to be funny with this record because it's big and exciting and confident. And my answer is, 'I don't think Beethoven was trying to be funny.'"-Brandon Flowers

Still debating on whether or not I want to write up a review of Sam's Town. Unlike most people I didn't download it beforehand, I gave up on sound clips, and bought it the day it came out. I also enjoy the single a lot and after not being wowed the first time through, I gave the album a few spins til all that stuck in my head was more than thoughts like, this song sure does sound a lot like U2 or man, can't wait til we get to that song about Bones. I also don't hate it. And if you folks at home are playing along, yes, I gave the Killers more of a chance than I did the Hold Steady. Fuck. I just lost all four of my readers.

So to recap: No review, no regrets. In the meantime enjoy this:
