JIMMY BUFFETT BUSTED FOR DRUGS
"French customs officials seized beloved singer-songwriter JIMMY BUFFETT in St. Tropez before he boarded a private jet this week, recovering more than 100 tablets of the club drug Ecstasy in his luggage. Buffett was later released after paying a $380 fine. A spokesperson for the singer insists the "medication" in question was prescribed by a doctor but declined to name any health problems the singer was being treated for."
This is the first I ever heard of a doctor prescribing Ecstasy to treat some sort of ailment or disorder. I guess being "wasted away in Margaritaville" just isn't cutting it anymore for Mr. Buffett.
