The Midas Touch?

1.65 Billion. Google gobbled up You Tube for 1.65 Billion. This is a good thing right? I'm happy for the non-profit making company that is only 20 months old. Money in the bank is a good thing, but at the same time I feel as if the days of catching much viewed items such as music videos that are hardly played on tv or amusing political clips are coming to an end. Attaching the name Google to the site also means attaching a higher influx of watchful eyes on high, quick to remove anything they deem stolen or copyright protected. [Which they have every right to do by the way] Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe You Tube will carry on in the same manner it has been for the past 20 months, and if it doesn't, well, enjoy it while it lasts before Google "revamps" it.
