So I could not stand this song at all when I copped B'Day. To me it felt sloppily tacked on to what is otherwise a tight, cohesive, and damn fine album. [the same goes for Check On It. Great track. Bad tack.] And then I saw Dreamgirls last Saturday and now the song is tolerable and has gotten a few spins here and there. Kudos also to Beyonce for going back to the drawing board and crafting up an alternate version of Listen. This video works and looks better than video # 1. Check it out.
