Damnit! One of the great things about that song was the original chord progression and bass line. Totally discarded here. Not a fan of this remix by any means.
Kind of amazing that they had sound equipment that was waterproof. It sounded like the hand-held mic was live if nothing else was.
Random note: when I performed at the theme park the summer before senior year, the two performers that had the older headsets had to use condoms to keep them dry from their sweat (outdoor stage on the east coast).
Owner of the company: "Why the hell are there condoms backstage?!" Cast manager: "Oh, it's okay: they're unlubricated."
