'cause somehow, someway, chris and usher managed to make a song about picking up a woman in the club sound sweet and genuine. 'cause usher is like a good influence/older brother here, which makes chris turn the juvenile antics and pick up lines off. 'cause it almost operates like an apology for all four and half minutes of loyal and whatever remixes it inspired. 'cause i enjoy singing along to it. 'cause it's funny when rick ross thinks he is funny. 'cause if high school musical had numbers like this in it, i might have tuned in. 'cause that melody is hypnotic, eschews current trends, and plays like an r&b throwback. 'cause, again, usher. all of that. that's why i stay in love.
