One of my favorite ladies on the indie rock scene recieved the "Pioneer Woman" Honor from the Los Angeles City Council for her "contributions to popular music [that] have left their mark on her neighborhood, her genre, and her time" and for aiding in highlighting "the Silver Lake and Echo Park musical scenes on the leading edge of 21st-century song." Holla!
