Love & Happiness.

The Albums: 2009.

10/Yeah Yeah Yeahs/It's Blitz!

It's a "soft shock" when you press play on this, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's 3rd LP. The youth, the vigor, the unabashed confidence, it's all here, but it's less abrasive, less in your face. This band still has a Fever to Tell, but they're gonna take their time this go round, talk slowly and speak softly while wielding that big stick of confidence. It's a "soft shock"", cause fresh out the gates we knew this gal and the boys in the band had it, and were ready for the big leagues, and this album sparkles with a conscious self aware sheen; A product of a band comfortable in their sound, highly knowledgeable of what they want and where they wanna go. This LP coasts on a wave of genuine versatility and vulnerability as relatable and easy as talking to your Fam, or your Romeo or Juliet on the phone. Calm, aware, jaunty, and softly abrasive, it's Bliss baby. It's Blitz!
