For the love of money

Because I like music I can't help but run my fingers across the top of CD cases for sale whenever I step inside a Starbucks. I don't know why I do so, when I could just walk up to said CD rack, close my eyes, say John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Fela Kuti, Corrine Bailey Rae, and Norah Jones aloud, open my eyes, and pat myself on the back for a job well done.

But apparently Starbucks is looking to do more than offer you the latest hits courtsey of Star 98.7's afternoon playlist and great employee benefits. It seems they want to actually enter the music business, with, get this, their own record label. Things should go smoothly I presume cause they have enlisted none other than Sir Paul McCartney to help get this thing off the ground. Now I don't go running to Starbucks for my quick new music or what's really good in music fix [no that's what the internet is for. Kidding! I mean stores, yes stores. I BUY music. Please don't come after my young gullable ass RIAA], but I guess some people do. Best of luck with this new endeavor Starbucks. I'm sure your acts will be topping the charts in no time.
