"Who are you?"
Nowadays I am frequently reminded by those closest to me of how much of an old man I've become. I'm only 24 and a few months, but I don't like going out on work nights; I don't particularly care for clubs, bars, or parties anymore; I love reading the paper on a daily basis [particularly in the morning before work while drinking coffee and watching the news]; I recently stayed up late and delayed sleep in order to watch HBO's Recount in its entirety; And, of course, I LOVE cable news. In fact, a typical evening for me following a nice day in the office consists ofexercise [if I am up for it/not drained] and watching MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann. Real talk. Yes, Keith, Keith he's my man, if he can't do it, no one can. Sorry, that's just the way it is.
And speaking of Countdown and the kids, in today's Los Angeles Times, Howard Rosenberg ponders, "Is Olbermann's snide act on MSNBC the future of TV news?", to which I reply, no, quit tripping, and just appreciate the fact that he's around. Or change the channel.
