what we say in private is the debut album from Canadian visual artist and painter Alexandra Levy, presented here and saying hello as Ada Lea. And with her debut, Ada comes out swinging, and comes out strong. With alternative rock serving as her canvas, what we say in private is Ada’s fully formed portrait of alt rock in full bloom; where sublime guitar excursions crash against cascading thrashings of drums, all coalescing beautifully beneath Ada's commanding presence. She's a "daisy dancing with the breeze", and sometimes "the foot that has to step on everything". No matter the stance, on what we say in private, Ada voices things once kept quiet fiercely, keeping you stuck all the while, with all eyes on she.
