Just when you thought it was safe for indie kids and critics to back away, Ryan Adams bounces back on a hip-hop tip, channeling Beck and the Beastie Boys, and for some strange reason David Cross. [I should really lay off the Arrested Development DVDs]If it weren't for the fly ass beat, old-school vibe, and tongue-in-cheekness of it all [ca-ca-ca critics one and a half stars yeah!
