FILE UNDER: A Quick Peep/The Final Countdown/Old School Funk for the True Funk Soldiers!
Maybe it's because it's Election Day. Maybe I need to get my ass back inside a church at some point. Whatever the reason, when I woke up this morning [and on the walk back to work post lunch] this song presented below in music video form, was in my head. Hell, I even sang the hook at the end with the choir out loud before realizing I was in public, walking down a street sans iPod, Sony Discman, or a giant BoomBox perched on my shoulders. Not a good look son. Not a good look at all. [Though walking down a street in business casual clothes while carrying a giant boombox on my shoulders that's bumping the Space Jam sdrtk is probably an even worse look]
Wow, that was something. You'll have to excuse me, I forgot how "This is our Country!" the music video is in certain parts. It's been a minute.
