2 weeks ago I was sitting on the couch flipping through the channels and caught an episode of that new dance show on Nickolodeon, Dance Street. When guest performer Akon graced the stage I was initially dismayed by the rapturous applause he was getting and the way the kids swayed beneath his thumb. And then this kid came on. Totally forgot about all that until this past Friday night post drinks and a Speed Racer viewing, when the TV found itself on MTV Jams.
Cut to today.
